THE HISTORY OF BONNYRIGG SOCCER

The Bonnyrigg Mosque Soccer team was established in the early 90's by Mr Ercan Aydin the Sports and Youth Development Leader of Bonnyrigg Mosque.  

The Bonnyrigg team since the 90's under Mr Ercan Aydin has become the team to beat in the outdoor arena, not only has Mr Aydin developed many youngsters whom went on to play in state, super and premier leagues, but also our favourite Imams.

In 2007 Mr Ercan Aydin handed responsibilities of Sport and Youth organisation and development to his son Erkan Aydin. Recently the Bonnyrigg United team have been involved with the NSW YOUTH CUP competitions finishing 4th in 2007 and 2nd respectively 2008.

The Bonnyrigg United team and Bonnyrigg Mosque would like Thank Mr Ercan Aydin for his contribution and hard work throughout the years spent with our youth.
